In December, we upgraded our digital printing capabilities with the purchase of a Xerox 770 digital color press. With this, we not only increased our hourly output of pages, but we also increased our finishing capabilities. The Xerox 770 has options that included saddle stitching, folding, and high volume stacking. This can automate many tasks that would otherwise require intensive manual labor, cutting the cost to our customers. Read on for the complete list of features that our new Xerox 770 has to offer and to watch a brief video about the printer. More
Okay, so I just upgraded to Snow Leopard. The Mac’s latest and greatest OS upgrade. I didn’t do my research. That’s the way things go with me usually. I don’t read about them too much, I just get an understanding of them, then dive right in.
My initial impression? Not a whole lot of functional differences. Just some refinements to the gui.
Cons? It no longer supports Appletalk!!! This is a biggie. Especially for a print-based business such as High Res. So, now I’m stuck figuring out how to make all my printers and my Mac coexist peacefully. Pray for me. I’m really going to need it.
Can I recommend it to you? I’m not sayin’ just yet.
