Not all banners are created equal, and not all banners are printed on vinyl. We have materials that are suitable for banners at our disposal that are woven fabric. They are available in different weaves and weights to suit your application. These banners were just produced for Knoxville First SDA Church on Kingston Pike. They were looking for something that could be light and “flowy” to move a little bit with the air circulating in the auditorium.
For our annual Christmas party at High Res, the owners decided to use a roulette wheel to hand out prizes to employees. One of our production staff team members designed the vertically spinning wheel to use. Here’s how we produced it for our party.More
Over the summer, Clayton Homes approached High Res about designing, producing and installing a wall mural for a main thoroughfare in their home office. Almost all visitors and clients that visit the corporate headquarters in Maryville, Tennessee make their way through this hallway at some point during their visit. Clayton recognized the prime visual real estate they had available to them to educate their visitors on how the company has thrived over the years. This month, we put the finishing touches on the project. Read on to see how what began as an almost blank wall became a showpiece for the company.More

Last year, High Resolutions was privileged to be chosen to help design and create large graphics for a bedroom in the Extreme Home Makeover in Knoxville. A production designer from the crew brought us sketches that were to become huge graphics for ceiling suspension, wall murals, and fabric drapes. Read on to hear about how we turned tiny sketches into huge graphics and to see photos of the final installation.More
Camel Canvas recently sent a graphic over for us to produce for one of their awning customers. We printed the large logo for the face of “POP” Korn’s awning over their front door. The graphic was produced on 3M high-performance vinyl and given a protective caste laminate. The end result is an eye-catching canopy complimenting a store front with elegant lighting and a classic architecture.
The U MediSpa in Murfreesboro, TN needed some indoor signage that matched the elegance and mood of their beauty and wellness center. Knoxville designer, Tommy Stokes, created the art and conceptualized the sign fabrication with the help of High Resolutions.

The University of Tennessee Men’s Athletic Department and The Tombras Group recently developed a new campaign for the men in orange. Once the wall art was designed, we stepped in to “make it happen”.
This project wasn’t a small one. Neither was it huge. However, it certainly was on a tight timeline. We were challenged to meet, setup, produce, and begin installation of these graphics within a three day period. One of the major concerns voiced, was that of quality. Could we pull this job off in time, without a sacrifice in print quality? What was our response? Well, it’s in our name. We produce high resolution graphics at High Resolutions.
So, the job began with a meeting. We met with Tombras on a Wednesday. Began work that afternoon. Tombras made this project a breeze, really. We worked hand-in-hand, manipulating the art so it would work on these multi-dimensional surfaces. It takes real professionals to make things happen in these circumstances.
Thursday morning we began finalizing the art. Sizing and positioning the text elements, so nothing would be lost. By Thursday mid-day, we were in full production mode.
By Friday, we were finishing the graphics, and preparing them for installation. We began installation that evening, and finished up on Saturday.
Thanks to the efforts of all involved, the wall-coverings went up without a hitch.
Doing a new store’s graphics is always fun. Doing a new store that happens to be a local coffee roaster? Even better. You can’t go wrong with friends who make your primary form of energy in bulk. In 21 custom flavors.
jaVERDE Coffee Co. is a group of friends right here in East Tennessee who have been roasting coffee beans from around the world since late 2007. They’ve had a kiosk in West Town Mall for quite a while, and they sell direct online through their website www.jaVERDE.com. But they were ready for the big time, and came to us for their graphics. They just had their grand opening this past weekend and are located on Middlebrook Pike between Cedar Bluff and Lovell Road, right across from the new Food City.
Of course we could have proposed all sorts of incredible options like dimensional signage, LED lighting, wall murals, floor graphics, etc. That’s all stuff that we do. But where we really came through for these guys was to allow them to fill that new café and drive-through with large prints, menu boards, and backlit signage on an extremely affordable budget. They created the designs, and we made them come to life.
We used our flatbed UV printer for the entire run of graphics – imaging directly to foamcore for interior prints and menu boards, and to the translucent panels for the backlit drive-through menus. This printer allows us to totally eliminate an extra layer of printing – and expense – because we don’t have to make paper or vinyl prints that have to be then laminated to the substrate.
So I went to the grand opening, enjoyed some great coffee, some great graphics, and oh… did I mention that I won a year’s supply of free coffee? They had drawings throughout the day, and I happened to have my name drawn! Like I said, you can’t go wrong with friends like this. I wonder which of those 21 flavors I’ll try first…
Here’s to your success, jaVERDE!
